Festival dates for 2024 are August 5th-16th. Festival staff will meet festival participants arriving by plane on Monday, August 5th at the Vienna International Airport for bus transfer to your hotel in Eisenstadt. If you are departing from the U.S. or Canada, you will need to depart by August 4th for arrival in Vienna on August 5th. The Festival will also provide bus transportation back to the airport on August 16. Participants arriving or departing outside of those dates are responsible for making their own transportation arrangements.

We encourage you to begin looking at air travel to Austria early so you have more options available to help keep costs down. Be sure you understand the airlines refund policies should you need to cancel your trip. We also recommend considering trip insurance that provides you a refund should you need to cancel your trip for any reason. When planning your flight arrangements, please keep in mind that the festival provides several bus departure times on August 5th, with the first departure at approximately 10:30 am depending on group arrival times with additional departures approximately every 3 hours ending by approximately 5:00 pm. Anyone arriving after the last scheduled departure will need to make their own transportation arrangements to Eisenstadt, unless the late arrival is a result of an airlines delay.
